S’mores Bars

No-bake, 4-ingredients & ready in minutes! Create nooks and crannies when pushing these addicting bars into the pan.

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 16 ounces miniature marshmallows—about 8 cups (divided)
  • 13 cups Golden Grahams or Malt-O- Meal S’mores cereal (divided). Use a total of roughly 16-18 Oz of cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks (for sprinkling on top)
  1. PREPARE a 9×13 inch baking pan or a 12 x 18 inch sheet pan with cooking spray.
  2. MEASURE and RESERVE 1 cup of marshmallows AND 1 cup of cereal into a small bowl.
  3. MELT the butter in the microwave in a large bowl.
  4. ADD the remaining marshmallows to the butter.
  5. MICROWAVE in 1 minute intervals until the marshmallows get large and puffy.
  6. STIR the marshmallows and butter then add the cereal.
  7. COMBINE until the cereal is well until coated.
  8. POUR and scrape into prepared pan, use finger tips to arrange coated cereal.
  9. PRESS the reserved marshmallows and cereal onto the bars.
  10. SPRINKLE with chocolate pieces then them press down lightly.
  11. ENJOY immediately for a gooey treat allow them to set up and slice into bars or squares.

Recipe Notes:

  • If making multiple batches and you are short on pans, give the bars about 10 minutes to set up, then tip them onto a cooling rack. Re-coat the pan and begin again.
