Dessert for a crowd! My sister Michelle came up with this recipe. From memory she can quickly rattle off the ingredients and just as quickly mix them up.
Makes a 12×18-inch pan
- 2 brownie mixes (family size—about 18 oz. each)
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup water
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Coat a 12×18-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour 2 brownie mixes, 5 eggs, 1 cup oil, and 1/2 cup water into a Kitchenaid bowl or large mixing bowl.
- Stir ingredients with a rubber spatula to combine. Using the paddle attachment of the mixer, or electric beaters, mix batter on medium speed for one minute.
- Use the rubber spatula to scrape the batter into prepared pan. Smooth out the batter to distribute it evenly.
- Bake for about 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few fudgy crumbs on it. Watch carefully the last few minutes.
- Remove from oven and place on cooling rack. Cool and frost if desired.
