Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon cooking oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups long-cooking rice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- ASSEMBLE ingredients near stove top. Turn heat to medium-high. Heat the oil and salt.
- QUICKLY add water, rice, and garlic powder.
- STIR and cover with lid. Turn heat to high and boil for 2 minutes.
- IMMEDIATELY turn heat to low and cook for 22 minutes without disturbing. Do not take lid off during cooking time.
