- 1- 28 ounce can of tomatoes
- 3 carrots, ends trimmed but no peeling necessary
- 2 ribs of celery, top leaves included
- 2 cans green chilies
- 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- ¼ teaspoon oregano
- 4 cups cooked, shredded pork
- 1 can chili beans with sauce
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- PUREE first 8 ingredients in food processor. Transfer to a large bowl.
- ADD the pork and the beans.
- MIX together and crock-pot for about 3 hours.
- SERVE in a warm tortilla, with chips, or as the meat base for a taco type salad.
