Caramel Syrup

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  1. ADD first 3 ingredients to a medium size sauce pan.
  2. HEAT on medium-high until the mixture bubbles, stirring frequently.
  3. REMOVE from heat and stir in the salt and vanilla.
  4. SERVE warm.
  5. CONFIDENCE GAINED!

RECIPE NOTE:

  • REFRIGERATE leftover syrup and reheat in a hot water bath.
