- Corn tortillas or corn & wheat flour combination tortillas
- Canola or vegetable oil
- Salt (get as fancy as you want: popcorn for a fine grain, kosher for course or regular table salt)
- PREHEAT oven to 450º.
- LIGHTLY brush both sides of tortillas with oil.
- SPRINKLE with tortillas with salt.
- PLACE tortillas in a single layer on baking sheets.
- LAY an upside down wire rack (cooling rack) on the tortillas to keep them flat while they bake.
- BAKE for 5-7 minutes. Two pans may be baked at a time. Rotate the pans as needed.
- CONFIDENCE GAINED!
